Past Voice of the Wetlands Festivals

Voice of the Wetlands 2005 Festival became a different event all together. First, the hurricanes ravaged the coast and the warning that was being spread about the wetlands crisis became a reality. With everyone evacuated - it became a national crisis in an instant and the VOW All-Stars took to their mission to help their communities from a distance. The scheduled VOW Fest ended up in Colorado and the All-Star line up grew with artists like Henry Butler and Coolio. Here are a few photos of the Colorado festival/benefit. In 2004, the first annual Voice of the Wetlands Festival became a landmark of events, exhibits and cuisine coming together for the wetlands. The weather wasn't cooperating but it didn't cause as much of a commotion as in the year to come.
